Founder and CEO of Abbot's Butcher
Kerry Song is the founder and CEO of Abbot’s Butcher.
After earning her bachelor’s in Economics from Princeton University, she entered the analyst program within the Fixed Income division of Citigroup GCIB in New York City. She subsequently moved to San Francisco, where she worked as a Derivatives Analyst at Morgan Stanley. Then after leaving corporate finance, Kerry moved back home to Los Angeles, where she worked in content marketing and brand strategy – eventually joining the marketing team at Tony Robbins.
She started Abbot’s Butcher in farmer’s markets across southern California in 2017. Today, the company is in more than 3000 grocers and restaurants across the country.
A long-time proponent of animal welfare, Kerry made a commitment to leading a life that honored the lives of all living beings. Adopting a plant-based lifestyle was a core component of this decision. And Abbot’s Butcher is an extension of her mission to reconnect people with the food on their plate, so they can live a more meaningful life that cultivates a kinder, more compassionate world.
