John Massengale, RDN, LD, CDCES
I'm a plant-based registered dietitian and endurance athlete. I currently work as certified diabetes care and education specialist for Baylor Scott and White in Fort Worth. I also have a private practice called John Massengale Nutrition where I help individuals transition to a more plant-based diet. If someone is looking to lose weight and control and potentially reverse chronic diseases like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and chronic renal diseases, I can help. I counsel individuals in person and in telehealth. I'm in the process of launching my first online plant-based nutrition course focused on weight loss. I earned my bachelor's degree in dietetics and human nutrition from Metropolitan State University in Denver Colorado in 2017 and completed my dietetic internship at the University of Oklahoma in 2018. Outside of work, I'm a running coach in Fort Worth and I've completed an Ironman and the Leadville 100 MTB race. I grew up in the Flower Mound area and I like spending time with my family and dog Bonnie.
