In honor of Heart Health Month, Dr. Riz and I share an interview from December 2019. We were guests on Kaku 88.5 FM The Voice of Maui with Bill and Bobbie Best on their segment called "Off The Record".
Dr. Riz had been invited to be a guest speaker for the Vegetarian Society of Hawaii. He spoke in Oahu and Maui. Once we were in Maui, we were invited to be on the local radio station. This gave us an opportunity to speak on who we are as Plant Based DFW and the organizations we belong to such as the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and Walk With A Doc.
During this conversation, we talk about nutrition, exercise and why the Blue Zones have the longest lived people.
